Pittsburgh Steelers @ Baltimore Ravens Sun. Dec. 5th 8:20pm EST
The AFC North division is without a doubt one of the most competitive divisions in the NFL today, but this season it has become a two team race for the division title as the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens are the only teams in contention to come out on top.
Coming into Week 13, the Ravens and the Steelers are dead even at 8-3, but only one team can come out with the win and as a result the top spot in the AFC North. This is an interesting matchup for NFL football betting as both Ds are capable of shutting down the other team.
In my opinion, the Baltimore Ravens are without a doubt the better of the two teams in this AFC North showdown as they are the total package with a potent offense and a lockdown defense, but they will have their hands full against the Pittsburgh Steelers who have consistently proven throughout the NFL regular season that they are amongst the most resilient teams in the league.
As of right now, the Baltimore Ravens are favored to win this matchup with their division rivals with a -3 point spread. There is no doubt in my mind that this game will be a barn burner and arguably the game of the week as neither team will backing down, but despite the Steelers taking giving the Ravens are run for their money, I believe the Ravens will come out on top while covering the spread.
The one thing to watch for in this matchup will be up and coming quarterback Joe Flacco and the Baltimore Ravens offense going head to head with the lockdown defense of the Pittsburgh Steelers. If the Ravens can put up points on the Steelers defense, they should cruise to victory and maintain their first place standing within the division, but if not they will be in a for long day in which Mike Tomlin’s squad could pull off the slight upset.
